Inner City Outings (ICO) is a Sierra Club program which takes children from Atlanta's inner city into the wilderness for outdoor adventures.
Volunteer leaders, certified and specially trained in recreational, outdoor, and safety skills as well as environmental education conduct wilderness adventures for youth of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, hearing or visually impaired individuals, and the physically disabled. From backpacking trips to neighborhood cleanups to naturalist-led hikes through local marshes and meadows, ICO volunteers introduce all people to the natural world and teach them how important it is to protect and restore wild places.

One Club: Through the One Club conservation/outings program, the Chapter brings together local
conservation activists and outings leaders to lead conservation outings designed simultaneously to explore, enjoy and protect local wild places.
The One Club program's goal is to integrate local conservation issues and local
outings, which helps to strengthen Chapter leadership, make outings more relevant to the Club's objectives, and support local conservation objectives.
The Georgia Chapter supports the One Club program through its conservation outings that focus on current conservation issues.
