  OVERVIEW: Stop I-3:
Proposed Interstate 3 is a developmental highway pretending to be a defense department need. It would be built through one of the last undeveloped sections of the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains, and it would threaten many charming rural communities and well as many pristine wild areas. It is supposedly needed to connect the Huntsville, Al and Savannah River Nuclear facilities in South Carolina so we can haul nuclear material directly through the mountains . This ecological nightmare is a bad idea on so many levels its hard to list them all.
