This important forum is being held at Sandersville Technical College on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 6:30pm. It's about Plant Washington, the 850 mega-watt coal plant that is proposed for middle Georgia.

Plant Washington will take as much as 16 million gallons of water each day from our Oconee River water supply. Also, this coal plant will release carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur gas and mercury into our neighborhoods and water supply. It's a risky bet that we cannot afford.

Join others on Thursday, March 5 to state your concerns. It is *crucial* we show up in numbers on Thursday night.
