Have you always wondered about how to get more involved with the Sierra Club but were not sure how? Do you have a desire to learn more about how to get involved with Sierra Club outings, conservation issues or other volunteer opportunities? Do you just want to learn more about the environment or meet other like-minded individuals? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Sierra Club 101 is the right place for you.
Throughout the year, the Georgia Chapter of the Sierra Club hosts Sierra Club 101's as a crash course for interested individuals. The 101 features a presentation about the Sierra Club and the opportunities on how to get involved. We strongly encourage new members to attend. However, if you are a long-time member or just an interested individual please join us. Feel free to bring friends and family.
You will be able to meet with volunteer leaders and staff who can answer any questions you might have. Visit us here at the Georgia Chapter and learn about our current conservation issues. Collect Sierra Club and environmental materials to become more informed. Also, breakfast will be provided!
Start off your weekend right and join us on Saturday, Sep 10, 2011 at 10:00am for your crash course on the Club.
