- [volunteer] Wildlands And Wildlife Committee
The Sierra Club Wild Legacy conservation initiative seeks to engage a broad spectrum of citizens around the value of protecting wildlife, public lands and special places and block threats to these lands from commercial logging, mining, abusive recreation, and overgrazing. We need your help to fulfill these visions. Click here for details.
- [volunteer] Regional Action to Improve Livability (RAIL) Committee
Do you believe that traveling by car should be just one of many transportation options available to Georgians? We support existing mass transit options in Georgia and proposed public transit projects such as, the Atlanta Beltline, streetcar lines in downtown Atlanta, high-speed rail connecting Atlanta to Charlotte and the national high-speed rail, and a commuter rail line from Athens to Atlanta to Griffin. If these sustainable initiatives sound exciting to you, then join the RAIL committee where we support eco-friendly community development for a better quality of life in Georgia! Contact Dave Emory, Chair: david.emory@gmail.com; (404)-607-1262, x-225

We are looking for passionate, dedicated leaders to participate on the Smart Energy Solutions committee and to help with our Beyond Coal Campaign. Join us to be sure Georgia has a clean energy future! Click here for details.
- [volunteer] Sierra Club 101 Committee
Would you like to meet new people and help them honor their passion for the environment at the same time? We are looking for a few good people to execute our Sierra Club 101 sessions, a quarterly, turn-key event to introduce people to our organization and link them to the areas within the chapter that best match their interest. Join us as we welcome new members and supporters to our organization! Contact Sybil Cypress: sybil.cypress@sierraclub.org; (404)-607-1262, ext. 221
- [volunteer] Beyond Factory Farming Committee
What we eat, how it's produced, and how it gets to us has huge impacts on our health and the health of our environment. The Beyond Factory Farming Committee helped form the Georgians for Pastured Poultry coalition (www.georgiansforpasturedpoultry.org) to educate Georgians on the negative impacts of factory farming and to encourage that we demand more. Join us to help strategize plans to raise awareness here in Georgia for this important issue! Contact Leah Garces, Chair:

Are you looking for comprehensive non-profit experience? Here is a great opportunity to get a peek behind the nonprofit curtain while working with passionate volunteers and staff. We work on fun projects involving event planning, host committees, grant writing, sponsorships, direct mail appeals, and more.
